Santa Claus Cruise
Ho ho ho, Santa Claus is coming to the ship! Because the donkey cannot carry all the presents by himself this year, he will sail across Lake Zurich together with his helper Schmutzli on Sunday, 6 December.
Join Santa for a short cruise on Lake Zurich, departing from Zurich Bürkliplatz at 1.30 pm (service 35) and 3.00 pm (service 44).
Every child can recite a little Samichlaus verse, bringing smiles of delight all around: Samichlaus rewards every little verse with a small surprise.
The boat stops at various landing stages – a magical winter outing for the whole family!
A valid travel ticket is required for the cruise. Tickets are available from all ZVV sales points (including ticket machines) and on board.
Valid tickets:
ZVV ticket: single ticket for zones 110 + 140 + 150, day pass for zones 110 + 140, day pass for zones 110 + 150 or Zurich Card. GA Travelcard, Junior Travelcard and Children’s Co-Travelcard are also valid.

Adults aged 16+: CHF 9.40, with Half Fare Travelcard CHF 4.70
Children aged 6+: CHF 4.70

Reserve your table free of charge by calling 044 487 13 13 or online: Select «Short cruise on Lake Zurich» as the cruise type, 6 December 2026 as the date, and then your preferred departure time of 1.30 pm or 3.00 pm from Bürkliplatz. A minimum spend applies. On board, you can enjoy treats such as hot paninis, crème brûlée, almond buns, homemade ginger tea or hot chocolate. Just some of the delicious specialities to enjoy as a dessert or afternoon treat.
