A touch of the Orient wafts across Lake Zurich. On the MS Panta Rhei, we serve delicious mezze on Thursday evenings.
These appetizers, which are popular in Arabic cuisine are all the rage at the moment. The typical ingredients include chickpeas, for example, eggplants, tomatoes and exotic spices such as cumin and coriander. Incidentally, the name mezze comes from the Persian and means something like taste or snack. A snack that can be enjoyed on a sunny spring evening with friends or family.
