Slow down, take a break and relax on a captivating cruise on Lake Zurich. With a valid ZVV ticket, you can hop on and off at any of our 31 picturesque ports of call. And along the way, enjoy a delicious savoury snack or meal in our floating restaurant. We wish you a wonderful day!

Lake cruises departing Zurich

Short lake cruises (up to 2 hours)

Depart from Zurich Bürkliplatz. At Kilchberg breathe in the enticing aroma from a world-famous chocolate factory. At Erlenbach catch a glimpse of a historic wine-growing village. And at the Zürihorn see the «Heureka» sculptural machine created by Swiss artist Jean Tinguely. Then return to Bürkliplatz, rested and relaxed.

Summer
This cruise lasts one and a half hours, departing every 30 minutes from/to Zurich  Bürkliplatz. Daily from 09.10 to 18.40 hrs, from May to September even to 19.40 hrs.

Winter
Daily round trip at 12.40 and 14.10h. And additional departures at weekends and on public holidays.
Saturdays/Sundays with on-board restaurant. (Monday to Friday no gastronomy)

Medium lake cruises (2 - 3 hours)

Summer
This three-hour cruise takes you along the shoreline of Lake Zurich with its idyllic attractions – among them the towns of Küsnacht, Wädenswil and the Au peninsula. And if you fancy a delicious brunch along the way, take the popular Sunday Summer Brunch Cruise (without changing).
 
Daily departures every hour from/to Zurich Bürkliplatz. Change boats at Männedorf, Richterswil or Stäfa.

Long lake cruises (over 3 hours)

Take the trip from Zurich to Rapperswil. And because it's so beautiful – the same route back again. Discover at leisure the delights of Lake Zurich and its scenic surroundings.

Summer
Not to be missed is the romantic evening ambience at the sunset cruise.

This Long round trip departs hourly from/to Zurich Bürkliplatz. A top tip – leave the boat in Rapperswil for a leisurely stroll through the enchanting old town.

Winter
Daily departure at 13.30 h from/to Zürich Bürkliplatz.

Upper lake cruises (over 3 hours)

Summer
This trip takes you to two different worlds. From the hustle and bustle of busy Lake Zurich with its motor boats and sailing yachts, the cruise continues through a narrow canal at Pfäffikon to the calmer upper lake. Here nature protection reserves and historic convents characterize the landscape.

The Upper lake round trip departs twice daily from Zurich Bürkliplatz. Take advantage of the stopover in Schmerikon for a leisurely scenic stroll.

Short lake cruises (up to 2 hours)

Summer
Depart from Rapperswil for the trip to the Au peninsula. It was here in 1651 that General Hans Rudolf Werdmüller – an eminent officer in Swiss military history – created his country residence with its fine views of Lake Zurich. Even then rest and relaxation was a highly rated pleasure.

This Short round trip from/to Rapperswil departs several times daily and lasts approximately one and a half hours.

Medium lake cruises (2 - 3 hours)

Summer
On this round trip we pass the old Wädenswil Brewery (1883–1990), which used to deliver beer to lakeside guest-houses by boat. And if that's a sight which makes you feel thirsty, why not enjoy a refreshing drink along the way? Choose from our selection of beers, fine wines and non-alcoholic beverages.

Daily departures every hour from/to Rapperswil. Passengers have to change boats at Erlenbach, Thalwil or Meilen.

Long lake cruises (over 3 hours)

Summer
Whether you look to the left or to the right, the Lake Zurich shoreline offers so many sightseeing attractions. You can also simply close your eyes, listen to the language of the water birds, feel the balmy breeze, and let the sun caress your skin. Rest and relaxation guaranteed.

This Long round trip lasts for four fascinating hours, departing several times daily from Rapperswil to Zurich – or in the opposite direction.

Upper lake cruises (over 3 hours)

Summer
When the trip is by steamboat, there's little room for error as the captain skilfully manoeuvres his – or her – vessel through the narrow dam at Hurden. Not only does the mast have to be titled. Even the boat funnel has to be lowered. Passengers can only watch in wonder.

The three-hour upper lake round trip departs twice daily from Rapperswil. Take advantage of the stopover in Schmerikon for a leisurely scenic stroll.
